I Sense

A woman's intuition is never wrong.

Really?! Since when? What makes you so sure then?

One of my team mate at work started huffing and puffing the moment she found a "suspicious" forwarded text message on her hubby's phone sent by another girl from work. She wanted me to ask one of my other friends who's in the same department as his hubby and the "other" girl to lend me her phone so we could snoop and see if she got the same forwarded message. Their line of thinking goes like, if "other" girl just randomly forwarded a message to her hubby then she would've sent the same message to her other team mates and thus my friend should have a copy of that same message on her phone.

Hell no! One, I'm not gonna snoop around my friend's phone because I just don't. Two, I won't be used by another paranoid girl.

I asked her what made her think it was not just a forward and that it means nothing. She said, "they're not even close so why would she send him messages?" I then asked what made her think they're not close at which she replied, "I'm sure." And I just can't help myself from lashing the last line, "What made you so sure?"

At that she stopped. Only for a second. She then ranted that she's sure they're not close and since his hubby is just new in her team that they're not even friends. With that I said my parting words, "Yun naman pala e. Sure ka. So why are you bothered? Bakit ka react ng react."

That was it. End of conversation for the me.

I then realized that I'm very much aware of what she's going through. I've been there before. Anxiously waiting to pounce at the next girl who'd try to take hold of my man. Always spying on my partner's every move. Praning to the maximum level. Believe me, it was not healthy. In the end, I lost him to another girl still.

I finally learned my lesson and I was totally "secure" with myself when the next guy came. I was playing it cool. If he's busy, then he's busy. If someone calls him then let him get on with the conversation. If he's supposed to meet someone else, let him. Hmm, I was suspicious several times but I told myself, if he's cheating then let him continue because that way there's a bigger chance I'd catch him. Well, he WAS cheating and I DID catch him.

So maybe I haven't learned my lesson entirely. Point is, next time around, I know for a fact that being praning like my friend won't help and being too lenient would just be plain dumb.

Now why do I have a feeling I'd never be in another relationship after admitting that? Haha~

Wish List

I want, I want.

Kait showed me this white
Guess watch. I want!

And I want this charm bracelet from Filigrenesia (?) that I saw several months back. Personalized. You get to choose the charms you want. I haven't seen anything like that here unless it's made to order. Maybe if you guys are looking for something to give me, you could just buy me one charm. It's cheap, 150-250/each. Then I could go buy the bracelet. See, that'll be great. Each charm on my bracelet came from a friend. Aww.

I want a laptop too. My sister just ruined the PC again. Sister borrowed my flashdrive. Kait asked me to photoshop something. I took flashdrive back to save the file. And BAM! +virus found+ Shet~

Me Write

I wanted to be a writer back when I was younger. I tried it. Almost succeeded. Well, not quite. I don't think all the awards I got from essay writing contests and journalism competition would count. After all, I was being judged as a student of the craft, not someone who's already a writer. I guess, it's one of those things to which I could say, "at least I tried".

As days go by though, I realize I'm starting to forget whatever things my coach back then taught me. Forget sentence construction. Forget subject verb agreement. Forget having the right introduction and the seamless body and the iron clad ending. Hehe, I honestly forgot them na e.

I start my sentences with and and but, I don't use proper quotations, I don't care about the fluidity of my work. I just write what I think and I write the way I'd speak. This is exactly how I'd tell you this entire entry if I were to say it instead of writing it. Like a conversation. Raw and immature. I like that way. Seems like I'm talking directly to you. Personal.

Why Again?

The season's back. Ayun kay Ariel, taglibog nanaman ang mga tao! No offense taken though.

Batch 2

Except for my cousin, a grade school classmate and our old maid, i dunno who the heck everyone else is.

Crappy Sappy

I hate sappy movies. Not all but a great deal of 'em anyways.

I hate cheesy lines and iloveyous.

I hate crappy first dates.

I hate love letters and mushy messages.

I hate the dreamy looks on couple's eyes.

I hate forevers and promises.

Sheesh~ I'm such a cynic. I don't believe in a lot of crap that I used to adore when I was young and in love. They sound so...fake now. I hate anything fake.

And I hate the fact that I'm now too cynical. Bring me back to my innocence. Wahahaha~ If such a state exist.

I've worked my butt off for the past 2 weeks. I'm about to give up!

Erratic

Once I said that I love looking at my reflection for it reminds me that nothing is real. Reality is, after all, nothing but figments of one's perception of the physical and the valid, almost acceptable interpretation of the unseen.

And I go back to my previous post: Everything is relative, relative to everything.

Since when have I stopped thinking? Arrrrghhhh~

10,000 Frustrations

I can't hide the fact that frustration is slowly becoming an everyday trend in my life once more. With the lack of sleep, money, interest in anything and the general feeling of being stuck, I just can't help it.

Simply put, I'm not stimulated enough yet I am always out of breath and time. Life is moving way too fast and too slow both at the same moment and I can't help but feel confused. Confused because my head's miles away in the future while my feet are planted firmly on the present.

They say my problem is that I tend to think too much. What I don't understand is how that became a problem? If it results to anxiety and sleepless nights then is that such a big deal already? I've come to understand that we are thinking beings thus thinking is but part of our nature. And worrying about tomorrow is something inherent to everyone who has the foresight to plan anything.

I've had an hour and a half of sleep. It's 7pm and I'd be heading to work in a few. And I worry. I worry because I know that frustration would seep in the moment I step out of my house and that the fear of what's in store for me would get worse as I draw nearer. And no, this is not me "midlife-ing" as I thought I was. This is me finally accepting the fact that living life on the fast lane would only result to me missing out on the best things and that loving the momentary assurance of being on a standstill would make me lose sight of all the wonderful things awaiting me in life.

Einstein was such a genius for figuring out relativity. I couldn't have thought of it that way. Then again, everything is relative, so what's to discover?

Bleeding

Now I remember just how much I hated going to the dentist. After ten thousand years of not having a single toothache, my top left premolar started to ache like crazy a week or so ago. I realized just how bad my teeth's been neglected. Two freaking years without a dentist. Now that got me really agitated. I dunno what I'd find in there. The Tabon cave maybe?

I just got off the dentist's chair after being strapped there for two whole hours. She had to redo 3 of my fillings and add 2 new ones. And we're talking of just the left side. Next week I'd have the other side done, with 3 re-fills. My old fillings aren't doing me any good since they're all used up...errr...for the lack of technical term.

Ugh, I could still feel the drill inside my skull and when she cleaned everything, it feels likes she's driving through my gums to get to the "hard to reach areas". Every time she'd ask me to spit I tell myself not to look because there might be blood. Well, I looked. And there aren't just blood, there seems to be parts of my gums with it. Blech.

My gums can't feel anything at the moment. My mouth sure feels clean though.

Dentists. You just love to hate them.

Birthdays

I love celebrations. I do. I love parties and big dinners. I love the crowd and the countless family members who shows up. Lately though, I've been seeing less and less of these events. Not because we don't have anything to celebrate but because we tend to NOT celebrate anything.

As I've said, it's been years since the last time we had a Christmas tree at home and since the "big family fight" we haven't had any decent Noche Buena or Media Noche. Birthdays are not as big an event as it was years ago. Usually it's restricted to my Lolo and Lola's birthdays. Those, in my family's vocabulary, are the only milestones worth celebrating.

Tonight, we went out to celebrate Dad's 81st birthday. My aunt from MI came home just for this. Her original plan of heading here during Christmas week was moved to an ealier date because they wanted to make sure that we get to celebrate my lolo's birthday.

Not having a plan is bad as we only learned where we're meeting up 10minutes before we got to Gateway. They're at Dencio's they said. Now, I had to rack my brains to remember where Dencio's Araneta is. Good thing I've been around the area a lot lately. Or else we would have gone round and round.

After gobbling all the food, my cousins and I started to crave for chocolates. I tried ordering all their chocolate desserts but everytime the waiter would come back to tell us they don't have any available. With that we, all seven of us cousins, decided to head out to buy some chocolate ice cream from Shopwise across the street.

Once out though, I had a sudden craving for coffee. So there, we ended up at Starbucks.I bought everyone their own frap, got a chocolate glazed donut and a mint brownie. We bought 2 dozens birthday candles at Goldilocks and we went back to Dencio's where we asked the waiters to light the candles for us. One for my lolo and one for my dad who celebrated his birthday last week.

Then we all hung out at Starbucks.

Simple. Just that. No buffets. No eat all you can. No Greenbelt restos. Haha~ We're the family of cheap. Next year sa Mang Jimmy's nalang siguro. Haha~

Adik

I've slept for 15 hours. I popped a 500mg tylenol. I gobbled 2 advil. And my headache's still thumping away. I'm nauseous and there's a bad taste inside my mouth. I want to die. Well, I feel like I'm about to die anyway.

Horrible.

In 2 hours we're going out to family dinner and after that I go straight to work, then I head to the gym tomorrow morning after work. Now, how can I possibly do that?

Random

It's 30 something days before my birthday slash Christmas and I haven't gotten anyone anything YET. I don't even know if I'm one bit excited about the entire deal.

It's my lolo's birthday. We're having dinner somewhere. My dad and mom don't wanna join us though. As always. Sarap talaga pukpukin ng martilyo ng magulang ko e. That was the first reason why my dad had a heart attack. My aunt was arriving from the US after years and they're celebrating, they invited my family so we could all have dinner at my other aunt's place. My didn't want to go even when they said it could be a double celebration because it was his birthday. So he got left home alone. He's so tampo he got a heart attack. Whopee~ Sana wag na mag drama please!

I'm sick. I dunno what to do anymore. I slept from 4pm yesterday til about 7am this morning all because of my darn headache. Now my nose is all runny and my toothache's getting worse. Sheesh~

Daily Physics

Seems like everyday is one big headache for me. With all the responsibilities and plans tugging at me in all directions, I usually end up on a stand still. I hate physics the more because of this. Unless I start putting on more weight at one part then I'm bound to stay where I am. Stuck.

My Turn

They texted me last night. I need to come to work since no one's willing to take over. I said yes. Now I can't. I'm sick. Darn fever. Not because I want to work, but because I hate feeling all droopy and tired like this. Darn, darn, darn.

Breakfast

I'm such a pig. No mom around means no decent meal around the house. So for breakfast, guess what I had. Ice Cream.

Half a bowl of ice cream (chocolate and double dutch combo here!), 2 sliced ripe bananas and tons of chocolate syrup and a dash of cocoa powder later I feel sick. Ugh~!

Hanne will sleep now. Nyt.

Family Time

I just got back from the hospital. Papa's been moved out of the Stroke Unit into his own private room. The room itself was great. Just like a small hotel. And we had our own little family time in there. Haven't had that in years.

32K (without the doctor's fee) and counting. Third day almost done. How many more days? How much more?

Bawal magkasakit. Talaga.

Who Viewed Me

Kait's been hounded by Monkey. So she gave me an idea. I was able to see who viewed my Friendster account. Surprisingly, I don't know half of them, the other half, I've long forgotten. My blog's a bit more harder to check. But I got things in there that I could use. The wonders of technology. I don't even need to be CIA. Haha~

Here Monkey...Here...

Daily

Being home alone ain't bad. I actually love it.

My emergency leave though, I've been told, is still "pending" until I get to talk to our Business Manager. Why is that so? *headscratch*

I've cooked lunch and I washed the dishes after ten thousand years. Domestic. Yeah, I'm feeling all domestic.

Janrey flew off this morning. Who's next? I'm still thinking about Canada. Josh and I talked about Singapore. Hmm, I have to hunt some people down. Maybe ask them to hand me their visas or something.

Papa's still in the Hospital. He's been taken our of the CCU and transferred to the Stroke Room. I never thought there's even a CCU and a stroke room. Ahhh, and the bills. I can't wait until I get to see the bills. I just called HR and I asked everything that I could think of about my Medicard benefits, which is the same benefits my dependents would get. 50K againts 100K. Let it be 100K. Please.

And
I've got a new toy. Hernan was so envious. Haha~ He's not usually envious of anything teeny tiny...but this time, he's green all over.

Done

Apparently, someone googled me. Well, I kinda knew that.

Cecile called me up this morning just to play catch up. It was nice hearing her stories and just how happy she is now with her new guy. Yes, friends, I still keep in touch with her whatever warning you may give me. She is, after all, the person who shook me out of my nightmare. She also told me that Patrick supposedly googled me and that I apparently wrote here that I've forgiven him. Not quite.

Then I received an anonymous sms. Let me post it here:

Just for the record, and because I hate sour notes, I;m sorry for the shit that happened, I wanted to avoid what went down but unfortunately, I couldn't. I didn't mean to hurt you or anyone in the process. Take care...and no, I'm still not what you think. (+639272926761)

I so hate this. I honestly thought I'm never gonna hear anything from him anymore. Never. And I wanted it that way. I would always tell Cecile he could forget that he ever knew me and that's fine. It is.

And just for the record, I think I've forgiven him already. I think. Mainly because I don't even remember him. At all. And when I do, I don't feel anything. So I guess that could mean I'm no longer mad. I'm now apathetic. And that's how I want it to be.

To you, if you think I also turned Cecile againts you, you're wrong. You did that to her. And if you're saying you didn't mean to hurt anyone in the process, then you're just plain stupid. How can you not hurt anyone? By keeping every single relationship you have a total secret so all your women won't find out about each other? Geez, I pity the next girl who believes you. You don't love anyone but yourself. That's more than apparent, to me and everyone else who got to see what you can do to the same people you said you love.

Please don't drag my name when you're begging her back. She tells me. And that is unfair to me, you know that.

Hope this is the end. Ayaw ko na~ Please.

Torn

My dad had a heart attack and a mild stroke yesterday. He's at the hospital now. I dunno what to do. I want to file for leave so I could help around but I know I'm the only person there who can actually do the things that I do. I know people at work already have their hands full.

I don't know what to do. I have my responsibilities. To my family and to my job. I guess, I have to think of family. My only concern is, what would happen to my job when I get back?

Burned Out

I just started my week but all I could think of is home and sleep despite the fact that my dad is in ICU and I've a thousand deadlines to meet within the next 24 hours.

Funny how people work so they could rest. Ironic huh? We work so we could afford to rest. Why can't we just rest? Why work to earn your rest? It just doesn't make sense. Like now, I'm trying to finish everything that I could so I could have rest later. I'm jamming every single bit of report before 5am so I could rest from 5am til 6am. How devastating is that? I could cry just with the thought.

Life, it seems, is much more complicated than meets the eye, yet so simple when analyzed. Errr...or vice versa. Yes, my rest consists of me doing all the thinking necessary to get me through the next few hours of work. Sad ain't it?

I'm Evil

It was Janrey's despedida last Friday night and I slept through it. I either forgot to put on my alarm or my phone died and never got to alarm cos it was off when I woke up the following day.

Then my aunt arrived from MI last night. And yes, I slept through that too.

My Dad's in the hospital. And I'm not even the least bit worried. I actually thought he was acting up at first. And it's his birthday. Ugh! I'm such an evil person.

I kept on telling myself that I'd try to patch things up between us. Days are dragging by and the more I'm becoming alienated. It's not something I'm proud of, but I really can't bring myself to feel the love or whatnot. I am able to forgive a lot of things and a lot of people, then why can't I forgive my own Dad?

I couldn't get the bad images off of my head. How he shunned my birthday gift to him back when I was 12 years old and gave it to the manong magtataho. How he never showed up as I went up the stage to get my first ever medal back on fifth grade. How he lost my pictures then, my only proof that I ever walked up the stage and someone handed me my medal (unfortunately, since he was not there, my teacher became my proxy parent for the morning) and how he would always tell me time and again that I'm a failure. How he came to that I can't tell...but from the perspective of a child that hurts.

Maybe I am evil. It was not my wish though to stay this way.

Escalation Officer

I've been to hundreds of job interviews. Probably a dozen these past quarter alone. One thing that always catches everyone's attention is when I tell them I was an escalation officer for several months. They'd usually ask me how it was like or what it's about, just routine questions. The moment though I tell them that I don't only handle irate callers but I handle irate callers that supervisors and managers can no longer handle...well, they look at me quite differently.

Being in the call center business for three and a half years I'm in the position to assume that I've heard everything. Sad to say I've not. The reasons and stories keeps on piling up as time goes by.

One of the most memorable calls I've handled was from an old man who lives alone with his dog somewhere in Cali. He said he doesn't use his phone to make any long distance service and that he's not even aware he has long distance. Apparently, he do have Long Distance Services and he made a call for a minute wherein he got billed for 35cents. When he received the bill he went berserk.

I could've gotten the charges off. Heck, the amount he was charged for can be easily removed and as he had pointed out, the postage and the effort just ain't cutting it. But when I asked him the question that would finally put us both out of our misery, he answered "yes". He sealed his fate and my arms are tied and I can not remove the said charge.

Business is still booming despite the fact that everyday, call center agents handle iraet callers on a regular interval. And would you believe, there are people who actually looks for solutions for the problems that customer service reps and technical support reps are encountering with regards to their customers. It's like the people who cleans the toilets of the people who cleans other toilets.

Check the site out. Churn

Bring Me Around The Metro Please

P480 later I'm back where I started. Here in front of my PC. Thinking.

So what happened with my interview? It was great. As always though, I'm the one who starts to get all hesitant. Why did I ever apply? Change is supposed to be good. But change, most of the time, is also scary.

I took a cab to Makati. Went up to the 15th floor of that building in Salcedo. Had fun talking my way into the girl's mind and when I was sure that I had her, I said goodbye. I took another ride back home. And now I'm thinking...

Should I attend Janrey's despidida later even when I've no sleep at all? Should I go to Antipolo tomorrow night for my Aunt's arrival even when I've got work the next day? Should I accept the fact that I'm stuck where I am. Fact is...I'm not stuck. I've so many choices to make, it's just that I'm not ready to make any.

The best part of the day though was being stuck in traffic. 45 minutes and the meter running at P120 from RCBC Plaza to Guadalupe. Great huh? I just sat there at the backseat, and stared into the faded colors of non moving buildings and the passing shadows of pedestrians.

Weekend Where

I've got a feeling I won't even feel my weekend. It's the start of my weekend but I'm still up. 12 hours and counting. I've an interview later at 1pm. So there, I'm not going anywhere for now. Then tonight's Janrey's despidida of some sorts before he leave for errr, Oman? And tomorrow my Aunt is flying in from Michigan. Then Sunday, I'm back at work. Soooo...Weekend? Nah....

I Got Ya~

As you can see I've got all types of tracking thingies on my blog. At least three of them just on this one blog and who knows how many on my secret blogs. Of course I won't tell...

Anyway, I've been wanting to see just how persistent Monkey would be, so I tried to see if the Monkey would actually have the guts to get to my besty through my blog. I already know from where the visitors of my blog comes from, but this time I'd learn if someone would click on one of the links here to get somewhere else. If I'm able to get to date and time I'd be able to check where that person came from. Someone clicks my link from somewhere, it would show up on my tracker, this person clicks on my bestfriend's link here and voila~ I could probably catch Monkey red handed.

Okay, so maybe it won't work cos apparently no one's gone to her link just yet. Who knows? Monkeys aren't that smart. But you are...Hmm...Maybe you should get one too? What do you think? Give it a try and tell me if I was right with my assumptions or not.

Maybe I should tempt Monkey a bit more huh? Like create several other Outbound link from Bingr.com and see if Monkey's smart enough to avoid 'em, but temptations are pretty hard to ignore. I should know because I clicked on the links myself just to test it. Pretty cool really. It would've been way cooler though if we could track the IP or at least the general location of whoever clicked the outbound link. Then I'd be sure, 'cos it came from the zoo or something. Honestly, it would've been way cooler that way don't you think? I'm sure you agree with me.

It's pretty cool, really. Come, Monkey, come~ Bingr.com

Go On Changin'

Kait just wrote something about change. Now that got my attention. One thing's for sure, I'm the master of change...that's if such an individual could exist.

I actually felt the extent of how much I've changed the past 24 hours. Kait just told me about Monkey and I got all flared up and I wanted to tell her off for my friend's sake. So I literally ran her over. Take me five years back in time and I would've told Kait to just let it pass. Ugh~ Now that's the sissy me talking.

Then I got really mad at Glenn yesterday. I mean, I know I got a bit fired up than acceptable but heck, who deals with acceptable when they're mad? Not me apparently. I just got so darn frustrated that he can't even reply to my text messages when I've tried my best to keep out of the picture just so the gf won't ask too many questions and all. Heck, he broke up with me because (and this was his first reason) he misses his friends and that I was restricting him. What do you call us now? I'm a friend he denies to his girl in fear that she'd get mad. He had the guts to use his friends as a reason againts me but can't even tell her who I am. I was denied as a gf, and now I'm being denied and hidden as a friend. That, in my book, sucks. And yes, three years ago I won't say anything and continue to be the supportive and understanding friend that I am.

And just a few hours ago I kept on bugging Chico about what was bugging him. He'd been off for two consecutive nights now. Always lost in thoughts, with dark circles under his eyes. I can't even hear him laugh when I used to hate it because he'd got this really loud and hearty laugh that's so papansin. Then all of a sudden he shows up at work all rugged and sad? Usually I'd keep quiet and just keep to myself. It is, after all, not my business. A year ago I won't even ask my boss how he was, now I can't help it but make them spill the beans.

Since when did I become like that? I have no idea.

Change happens because of something. A triggering mechanism that pushes something off and creates a whole new experience and sense of person in and out. I'm different now because I did not choose to be but because they made me. They made me see that I have a voice and the I can't keep mum. They made me realize that I can't be always nice and understanding. They made me understand that I can actually reach out when I want to.

Two years from now who knows what I'll be like...

Monkey

The monkey has landed! Whopee~

Note to monkey: Have you looked at the mirror lately? Ugly ain't it? Stop looking then and start doing something about it. You see, more than physical beauty (you said you don't care much about this? really?) you have to have the brains and the breeding.

The brains? Hmm...I'm really not convinced you have this one. One, you seem to be pretty disillusional. Got that? Observe how I was able to use the word "pretty" there? Nope, pretty there is not synonymous with beauty/aesthetics. Sorry if I'm using big words here, you do know how synonyms are used and what aesthetics are for right? If not, then you sure won't understand what pretty lunatic is.

Now, let's move on to the the next...breeding. Ahhhh. You, monkey, is what I call an animal with a breed. And THAT fact does not translate to breeding. Now, if you don't understand that still...then let me tell you that you should learn to accept the fact that maybe, this time, you need physical beauty since it seems like you're lacking the two other things. That way, you could prolly still get away with bloody murder.

So Kait? Am I your wicked sister or am I THE wicked sister?

My Kids

I've had their pics on my messenger for a week now. And guess what, people on my friend's list who never took a minute to even say hi to me starte chatting with me...which usually ends with, "Is that your kid?"
Figures. Just a set of tsismosa and tsismoso. Yes, they're my kids...only if my besty would lend them to me once in a while Haha~

Good Things

I don't know what's up with the stars but things are great. All the companies I've been interviewed in seems to really like me and have all been asking about how soon can I start. Well, nothing's final but getting that question is better than hearing, "we'd call you" anytime.

Two down and two more to go. How fascinating is that? Hahaha~ Forgive me. I guess I'm just happy that I was able to find a silver lining this time.

Haven't seen anyone cute though. Yet. Haha~

Call Center Thing

Ever since I started working in a call center over three years ago, I developed a totally different sense of time. I don't think in MNL time anymore. Everything's EST. I get affected by DST and even by US holidays. In every sense, I'm a hilaw na Kano. I even have my slang perfected (which would only come out when talking with foreigners) that my Aussie cousin told me he could close his eyes and he won't even know I'm his Pinay cousin. Surreal.

Anyway, I'm about to make a 360 turnaround come next week with the schedules that I'd be working on. And I found help. Thanks to Mankzee's site, I discovered Pageflakes. Now, the best thing about it is the clock. No need to convert anymore. I can switch from MNL to EST to PST. Harhar~ I gotta tell the others about this. Especially those who can't convert until now. Sheesh~! Like they need a separate brain just to convert timezones.

Happy!

About To Give Up

I don't think I'd be heading anywhere soon. As frustrating as it may sound, I see this as a new opportunity to try and concieve a different plan altogether. From Plan A, I am now in transition for Plan B. i even have a Plan C and a very kuripot Plan D in line.

Giving up on something ain't bad. Well, for now.

Disclosure Policies

I've been blog hopping for months now. I've seen a lot of different sites and I've learned a great deal from reading other people's entries, just like now, I discovered Pageflakes.

Another thing that I stumbled on would be the creation of Disclosure Policies for blogs. It's apparent that blogs are now being used to market certain ideas and products. I for one signed up with PayPerPost today and it's important for everyone to understand that while this is a personal blog, I might want to actually use it to do reviews and product endorsements in the future. That's where Disclosure Policy comes in. I actually went there and built my own policy which I would post here later.

I really think that things like these are for everyone's protection. Heck, you'd find all kind of things on my links that are supposed to help me and everyone else who reads any of my entries. Though I write for personal satisfaction, I still need to think of the legal stuff and the serious implications of what goes here and all especially since I'm not an anonymous blogger.

Try the Disclosure Policy Generator. Took me less than 5 minutes for my own policy. Now, I just don't know where to place it. Hehe~

Just For Today

Am staying home for the day. After my quick trip around Mandaluyong-Ortigas last night I decided I badly need this.

My visit with Accenture was more than okay. I have one concern though...Let it be not like Sykes. Haha~

Had coffee with Randy and Rei at Podium. We're a weird lot to see. But we have one common goal at the moment, make our Galera plans a reality. I am so excited. Again, I feel I need this break (technically though, I'd just be as wasted as when I've worked double shifts non-stop with all the traveling and the extras but it's a whole lot better than work).

Stayed the entire afternoon in front of the TV just trying to forget that all the money I worked for the past 2 weeks just disappeared. It stayed a total of 10 minutes inside my purse then I handed 'em over to mom for Lyka's tuition, the phone bill and the extras she was asking for. Bye-bye money.

I saw Kingdom Of Heaven on TV. Sheesh~ I cried over that. I saw Anna Nicole's interview on TV and I cried over that too. What's wrong with me?!~

My aunt's flying in from Michigan next week. My mom asked me if I want to join her and my other Aunt when they pick her off the airport. I dunno. I'm not that excited anymore. But I love the fact that it's late at night and I just love driving at night.

Glenn asked me if I want to apply for Canada as well. He was on chat with his mom last night and she brought up the topic that maybe I'd be interested. I just might give this a try. Might.

Orlando Bloom got something right...err...at least the character he played in the movie got something right, "God will understand, cos if he does not then He's not God and then we don't need to worry."

So Bobby, what's Liberalism again? Maybe it's just ones excuse not to care about the mundane details of life. Or maybe it's the answer to everyone's question. And again, that's why I'm a liberal. Haha~

  • They Come and Go

I saw Fidel at the HR office this morning when I passed by to submit the weekly LOA forms that I've filed. He's leaving and so is PA. I've already said goodbye to countless people, many became my friends. It's sad just how fast people come and go in our lives. And somehow, you just can't have them back.

In the three years I've spent here I've said goodbye at least a hundred times. It does not help that all the promises of keeping in touch were never drawn out of sand. I was willing but we never just got the chance.

The AT&T batch 2 people just celebrated their third year anniversary yesterday. I could remember myself being in that same mood last September. Three years in this company and what have I achieved? Maybe it's time for me to leave. I know it is. But I'm heading nowhere thus I decided to stay a bit longer. Three years and I've said goodbye to my AT&T batchmates, 2 former managers, an entire account, an OM, several QCs and Managers, hundreds of agents, three IT and a lot of friends.

When I said goodbye to Ryanne a few months back, I knew I'd be repeating myself in a short while. And when I said goodbye to my Paul, I knew I'd say that same line to someone in my team.

I wonder, when will I say goodbye and be the one who turns away?

    Order Me Likey

We ordered lotsa grub from McD's. It took them forever to get here. One full hour. Sheesh~ But that's not the thing that's irking me.

My friend ordered a McChicken burger and explicitly explained that she wants no mayo in it. Lo and behold! When the order came, mayo was all over her burger. So she called McD's again and demanded that her burger be replaced. I think she was right in doing so, after, being in the customer service business you'd learn just how important your patrons are even when they make uncalled for demands.

She didn't stopped there though. She called the nearest branch and asked to have extra and free goodies saying that she was "inconvenienced" by the ordeal and that she don't want to return the wrong order since she's got her hands all over it already.

One order of chicken and rice meal and another free McChicken burger later she put down the phone and started to laugh. We looked at her and she started to explain. "They're giving me THIS burger and they'd send me another one without mayo and a chicken and rice meal for free."

My other friend said, "I thought you don't eat mayo, why keep that burger and hand it back?"

"This is for my hubby and I'd bring home the chicken for dinner."

Y'see, I don't mind getting freebies. And I'd definitely give the person who took my order a good slashing for not paying attention to my requests. But I won't pull something like that. I dunno, I can't explain it. I just can't.

    Ahead Of Schedule

Yes, yes, yes. Everything else in my life has been late up til now except for MY deadlines at work. Yipee~

Speaking of deadlines...My cousin's getting married next month. My only concern is, I'm next in line supposedly (as previously discussed by family members) and I'm nowhere near marriage at this point. If they skip me, I'd become an old maid. Hahaha~ Not sure of that though, but I just don't like the thought of everyone being married and me being single. Well, it's not so bad really. Heck, I'm not even sure if I'm proud to be single or not.

    Sad

I thought maybe it was just the lack of sleep, or probably the general connotation that it's the day of the departed. It's more than that I realized.

    I'm sad.

    Panic

It's creeping in. I am worried. My anxiety is picking up.  Please
