I Got Ya~

As you can see I've got all types of tracking thingies on my blog. At least three of them just on this one blog and who knows how many on my secret blogs. Of course I won't tell...

Anyway, I've been wanting to see just how persistent Monkey would be, so I tried to see if the Monkey would actually have the guts to get to my besty through my blog. I already know from where the visitors of my blog comes from, but this time I'd learn if someone would click on one of the links here to get somewhere else. If I'm able to get to date and time I'd be able to check where that person came from. Someone clicks my link from somewhere, it would show up on my tracker, this person clicks on my bestfriend's link here and voila~ I could probably catch Monkey red handed.

Okay, so maybe it won't work cos apparently no one's gone to her link just yet. Who knows? Monkeys aren't that smart. But you are...Hmm...Maybe you should get one too? What do you think? Give it a try and tell me if I was right with my assumptions or not.

Maybe I should tempt Monkey a bit more huh? Like create several other Outbound link from Bingr.com and see if Monkey's smart enough to avoid 'em, but temptations are pretty hard to ignore. I should know because I clicked on the links myself just to test it. Pretty cool really. It would've been way cooler though if we could track the IP or at least the general location of whoever clicked the outbound link. Then I'd be sure, 'cos it came from the zoo or something. Honestly, it would've been way cooler that way don't you think? I'm sure you agree with me.

It's pretty cool, really. Come, Monkey, come~ Bingr.com

Go On Changin'

Kait just wrote something about change. Now that got my attention. One thing's for sure, I'm the master of change...that's if such an individual could exist.

I actually felt the extent of how much I've changed the past 24 hours. Kait just told me about Monkey and I got all flared up and I wanted to tell her off for my friend's sake. So I literally ran her over. Take me five years back in time and I would've told Kait to just let it pass. Ugh~ Now that's the sissy me talking.

Then I got really mad at Glenn yesterday. I mean, I know I got a bit fired up than acceptable but heck, who deals with acceptable when they're mad? Not me apparently. I just got so darn frustrated that he can't even reply to my text messages when I've tried my best to keep out of the picture just so the gf won't ask too many questions and all. Heck, he broke up with me because (and this was his first reason) he misses his friends and that I was restricting him. What do you call us now? I'm a friend he denies to his girl in fear that she'd get mad. He had the guts to use his friends as a reason againts me but can't even tell her who I am. I was denied as a gf, and now I'm being denied and hidden as a friend. That, in my book, sucks. And yes, three years ago I won't say anything and continue to be the supportive and understanding friend that I am.

And just a few hours ago I kept on bugging Chico about what was bugging him. He'd been off for two consecutive nights now. Always lost in thoughts, with dark circles under his eyes. I can't even hear him laugh when I used to hate it because he'd got this really loud and hearty laugh that's so papansin. Then all of a sudden he shows up at work all rugged and sad? Usually I'd keep quiet and just keep to myself. It is, after all, not my business. A year ago I won't even ask my boss how he was, now I can't help it but make them spill the beans.

Since when did I become like that? I have no idea.

Change happens because of something. A triggering mechanism that pushes something off and creates a whole new experience and sense of person in and out. I'm different now because I did not choose to be but because they made me. They made me see that I have a voice and the I can't keep mum. They made me realize that I can't be always nice and understanding. They made me understand that I can actually reach out when I want to.

Two years from now who knows what I'll be like...

Monkey

The monkey has landed! Whopee~

Note to monkey: Have you looked at the mirror lately? Ugly ain't it? Stop looking then and start doing something about it. You see, more than physical beauty (you said you don't care much about this? really?) you have to have the brains and the breeding.

The brains? Hmm...I'm really not convinced you have this one. One, you seem to be pretty disillusional. Got that? Observe how I was able to use the word "pretty" there? Nope, pretty there is not synonymous with beauty/aesthetics. Sorry if I'm using big words here, you do know how synonyms are used and what aesthetics are for right? If not, then you sure won't understand what pretty lunatic is.

Now, let's move on to the the next...breeding. Ahhhh. You, monkey, is what I call an animal with a breed. And THAT fact does not translate to breeding. Now, if you don't understand that still...then let me tell you that you should learn to accept the fact that maybe, this time, you need physical beauty since it seems like you're lacking the two other things. That way, you could prolly still get away with bloody murder.

So Kait? Am I your wicked sister or am I THE wicked sister?

My Kids

I've had their pics on my messenger for a week now. And guess what, people on my friend's list who never took a minute to even say hi to me starte chatting with me...which usually ends with, "Is that your kid?"
Figures. Just a set of tsismosa and tsismoso. Yes, they're my kids...only if my besty would lend them to me once in a while Haha~

Good Things

I don't know what's up with the stars but things are great. All the companies I've been interviewed in seems to really like me and have all been asking about how soon can I start. Well, nothing's final but getting that question is better than hearing, "we'd call you" anytime.

Two down and two more to go. How fascinating is that? Hahaha~ Forgive me. I guess I'm just happy that I was able to find a silver lining this time.

Haven't seen anyone cute though. Yet. Haha~

Call Center Thing

Ever since I started working in a call center over three years ago, I developed a totally different sense of time. I don't think in MNL time anymore. Everything's EST. I get affected by DST and even by US holidays. In every sense, I'm a hilaw na Kano. I even have my slang perfected (which would only come out when talking with foreigners) that my Aussie cousin told me he could close his eyes and he won't even know I'm his Pinay cousin. Surreal.

Anyway, I'm about to make a 360 turnaround come next week with the schedules that I'd be working on. And I found help. Thanks to Mankzee's site, I discovered Pageflakes. Now, the best thing about it is the clock. No need to convert anymore. I can switch from MNL to EST to PST. Harhar~ I gotta tell the others about this. Especially those who can't convert until now. Sheesh~! Like they need a separate brain just to convert timezones.

Happy!

About To Give Up

I don't think I'd be heading anywhere soon. As frustrating as it may sound, I see this as a new opportunity to try and concieve a different plan altogether. From Plan A, I am now in transition for Plan B. i even have a Plan C and a very kuripot Plan D in line.

Giving up on something ain't bad. Well, for now.

Disclosure Policies

I've been blog hopping for months now. I've seen a lot of different sites and I've learned a great deal from reading other people's entries, just like now, I discovered Pageflakes.

Another thing that I stumbled on would be the creation of Disclosure Policies for blogs. It's apparent that blogs are now being used to market certain ideas and products. I for one signed up with PayPerPost today and it's important for everyone to understand that while this is a personal blog, I might want to actually use it to do reviews and product endorsements in the future. That's where Disclosure Policy comes in. I actually went there and built my own policy which I would post here later.

I really think that things like these are for everyone's protection. Heck, you'd find all kind of things on my links that are supposed to help me and everyone else who reads any of my entries. Though I write for personal satisfaction, I still need to think of the legal stuff and the serious implications of what goes here and all especially since I'm not an anonymous blogger.

Try the Disclosure Policy Generator. Took me less than 5 minutes for my own policy. Now, I just don't know where to place it. Hehe~

Just For Today

Am staying home for the day. After my quick trip around Mandaluyong-Ortigas last night I decided I badly need this.

My visit with Accenture was more than okay. I have one concern though...Let it be not like Sykes. Haha~

Had coffee with Randy and Rei at Podium. We're a weird lot to see. But we have one common goal at the moment, make our Galera plans a reality. I am so excited. Again, I feel I need this break (technically though, I'd just be as wasted as when I've worked double shifts non-stop with all the traveling and the extras but it's a whole lot better than work).

Stayed the entire afternoon in front of the TV just trying to forget that all the money I worked for the past 2 weeks just disappeared. It stayed a total of 10 minutes inside my purse then I handed 'em over to mom for Lyka's tuition, the phone bill and the extras she was asking for. Bye-bye money.

I saw Kingdom Of Heaven on TV. Sheesh~ I cried over that. I saw Anna Nicole's interview on TV and I cried over that too. What's wrong with me?!~

My aunt's flying in from Michigan next week. My mom asked me if I want to join her and my other Aunt when they pick her off the airport. I dunno. I'm not that excited anymore. But I love the fact that it's late at night and I just love driving at night.

Glenn asked me if I want to apply for Canada as well. He was on chat with his mom last night and she brought up the topic that maybe I'd be interested. I just might give this a try. Might.

Orlando Bloom got something right...err...at least the character he played in the movie got something right, "God will understand, cos if he does not then He's not God and then we don't need to worry."

So Bobby, what's Liberalism again? Maybe it's just ones excuse not to care about the mundane details of life. Or maybe it's the answer to everyone's question. And again, that's why I'm a liberal. Haha~

  • They Come and Go

I saw Fidel at the HR office this morning when I passed by to submit the weekly LOA forms that I've filed. He's leaving and so is PA. I've already said goodbye to countless people, many became my friends. It's sad just how fast people come and go in our lives. And somehow, you just can't have them back.

In the three years I've spent here I've said goodbye at least a hundred times. It does not help that all the promises of keeping in touch were never drawn out of sand. I was willing but we never just got the chance.

The AT&T batch 2 people just celebrated their third year anniversary yesterday. I could remember myself being in that same mood last September. Three years in this company and what have I achieved? Maybe it's time for me to leave. I know it is. But I'm heading nowhere thus I decided to stay a bit longer. Three years and I've said goodbye to my AT&T batchmates, 2 former managers, an entire account, an OM, several QCs and Managers, hundreds of agents, three IT and a lot of friends.

When I said goodbye to Ryanne a few months back, I knew I'd be repeating myself in a short while. And when I said goodbye to my Paul, I knew I'd say that same line to someone in my team.

I wonder, when will I say goodbye and be the one who turns away?

    Order Me Likey

We ordered lotsa grub from McD's. It took them forever to get here. One full hour. Sheesh~ But that's not the thing that's irking me.

My friend ordered a McChicken burger and explicitly explained that she wants no mayo in it. Lo and behold! When the order came, mayo was all over her burger. So she called McD's again and demanded that her burger be replaced. I think she was right in doing so, after, being in the customer service business you'd learn just how important your patrons are even when they make uncalled for demands.

She didn't stopped there though. She called the nearest branch and asked to have extra and free goodies saying that she was "inconvenienced" by the ordeal and that she don't want to return the wrong order since she's got her hands all over it already.

One order of chicken and rice meal and another free McChicken burger later she put down the phone and started to laugh. We looked at her and she started to explain. "They're giving me THIS burger and they'd send me another one without mayo and a chicken and rice meal for free."

My other friend said, "I thought you don't eat mayo, why keep that burger and hand it back?"

"This is for my hubby and I'd bring home the chicken for dinner."

Y'see, I don't mind getting freebies. And I'd definitely give the person who took my order a good slashing for not paying attention to my requests. But I won't pull something like that. I dunno, I can't explain it. I just can't.

    Ahead Of Schedule

Yes, yes, yes. Everything else in my life has been late up til now except for MY deadlines at work. Yipee~

Speaking of deadlines...My cousin's getting married next month. My only concern is, I'm next in line supposedly (as previously discussed by family members) and I'm nowhere near marriage at this point. If they skip me, I'd become an old maid. Hahaha~ Not sure of that though, but I just don't like the thought of everyone being married and me being single. Well, it's not so bad really. Heck, I'm not even sure if I'm proud to be single or not.

    Sad

I thought maybe it was just the lack of sleep, or probably the general connotation that it's the day of the departed. It's more than that I realized.

    I'm sad.

    Panic

It's creeping in. I am worried. My anxiety is picking up.  Please
